Where you can meet the car

Every car on this platform is delivered to you. That means the pickup point is a choice, not a stipulation: you pick where you want the keys handed over and the supplier meets you there. The whole Budva coast is covered, and the airports on either side of it too.

Around Budva

The heart of the operation is the coast itself. Handovers happen at your hotel or apartment on the peninsula, at any of the signed hotel car parks along Bečići and Rafailovići, and at the Budva bus terminal. Delivery is free anywhere on the strip; if you're staying at an address, the driver comes there.

Airports

Most Budva rentals start at an airport. Tivat is the natural choice, twenty-two kilometres up the coast and inside half an hour outside peak summer. Podgorica is worth it if the fare is materially cheaper, an inland run of about seventy minutes through the Sozina tunnel. Dubrovnik works when the northern-European carriers are only flying to Croatia; the cross-border crossing at Debeli Brijeg adds a permit at checkout and passport checks on the day.

Bay of Kotor

The Bay of Kotor is on the same rental map. Pickups run in Kotor at the Kamelija mall car park or the bus terminal, in Tivat along the Porto Montenegro strip and outside the airport terminal, in tiny Perast at either of the village car parks, and out at Herceg Novi for anyone crossing from Croatia or heading over to Lustica.

Beyond the coast

Beyond the coast, the network reaches inland and south. Podgorica is the capital and the natural first stop off the E80 inland; Bar is forty-five minutes down the coast through the Sozina bypass; Ulcinj sits an hour further south near the Albanian border with the long sand beach; and Nikšić is the inland town for anyone heading up to Durmitor.

Before you book

Every booking includes free third-party liability cover as standard. Paid upgrades cover glass, tyres and undercarriage on the switchback inland roads, and the top tier waives the deposit entirely. Full breakdown on the insurance page.

Free in-town delivery is offered by almost every supplier on the coast, including inside Budva, up in Bečići, and along the peninsula strip. Airport meet-and-greet is a paid service where the number is small; larger suppliers include it in the daily rate.

One-way drop-off between towns inside Montenegro is available on most cars. Cross-border drop-off (leaving the car in Croatia, Albania, Bosnia or elsewhere) is not supported; the full details are on the one-way rental page.

Pickup points FAQ

The pickup and delivery questions we field most often on a Budva rental: where to meet the car, whether the airport handover is fast, and what happens if the flight is delayed.

Can the car be delivered to my hotel or apartment?

Yes, free anywhere inside Budva and along the Bečići strip on almost every car. The driver arrives at the agreed time with the keys, walks the car with you, and leaves. Delivery outside those zones may carry a small fee, shown on the car card before you book.

How long does the Tivat Airport handover take?

About ten to fifteen minutes from arrivals. The driver is waiting in the arrivals hall with a printed sign; the car is parked at the terminal itself. There is no shuttle bus.

What happens if my flight is late?

Give the supplier the flight number when you book and they track it. If the plane arrives late the driver waits. Most suppliers on the platform absorb up to three hours of delay at no charge; beyond that a waiting fee may apply, shown per car.

Can I pick up in Kotor or Tivat and drop off in Budva?

Yes, one-way drop-off inside Montenegro is available on most cars. A small one-way fee is applied and shown at checkout. Cross-border drop-off outside Montenegro is not supported.

Which airport is best for a Budva trip?

Tivat is closest at twenty-two kilometres and simplest. Podgorica is second choice if the flight is materially cheaper, sixty-six kilometres inland via the Sozina tunnel. Dubrovnik makes sense when it is the only viable arrival option; the border adds a cross-border permit.

Do you cover the small resorts like Pržno or Sveti Stefan?

Yes. Delivery to Sveti Stefan, Pržno, Rafailovići and Bečići is included on almost every car. The supplier will confirm the exact meeting point when you book.
